Rosemary is a Mediterranean herb use often in hearty dishes and for culinary purposes. But Rosemary is so much more than just flavour and fragrance!
Rosemary comes from the mint family and it can be used fresh or dried. You can grow your own rosemary at home or purchase it at most food shops.
Often Rosemary is used to add flavour to hearty dishes, stews, meats, fish. The French “bouquet garni”, in Provence cooking and it contains Rosemary.
I find it fascinating to see the significance of Rosemary from ancient times to the present day. Dating back to Ancient Rome and Greece, Rosemary has been used to help with memory and concentration.
